AUTOMOBILE REQUIREMENTS FORM ENHANCEMENTS:
- Destination Port
- This field has been added in “Payment and Destination” section. You can enter your destination port in free format.
- Shipment Method: “Shipment Method” section has been added to provide you with more options on specifying the type of shipment you are creating. The following are the fields that you can specify
- ”Will this shipment be loaded in containers at a TLG Warehouse?”: specify Yes or No. Based on you answer additional fields will be available as follows:
- If loaded at TLG Warehouse, then specify the following fields:
- Shipping Method: either Containerized (Full Container Load), or Consolidation (Less than full container)
- Select TLG Warehouse at which shipment will be loaded.
- If NOT loaded at TLG Warehouse, then specify the following:
- Shipping Method: either Containerized (Full Container Load), or Roll-on/Roll-Off
- Select preferred port of loading (e.g., New York, Miami, etc.). This is a free format field
- Drop-off Location: If the shipping method is Containerized, then specify the location at which the empty containers will be dropped off for the loading.
- If “No” is selected, the user has to enter the following fields
SHIPMENT/VEHICLE DETAILS ENTRY FORM:
- Vehicle color: this field was added to allow you to enter the color of the vehicle for better identification at the warehouse.
- No. of Keys: this field replaces the Yes/No keys field to allow you to specify how many keys are available for the vehicle.
- Used / New: This allows you to specify whether the vehicle is new or uses.
- VIN validations: The VIN field was enhanced to validate the number you enter based on VIN validation rules for vehicles that are 1981 or newer. You must enter the full 17 digit VIN number.
